Our Process
How we work together
We've kept our process simple on purpose. No twelve-step onboarding workflows, no fifty-page proposals, no months of "discovery" before anything gets built. Here's how a typical project goes from first email to live website.
1. Conversation
You email us with a bit about your business and what you're looking for. We reply with questions, honest feedback, and a rough idea of whether we're a good fit. If we are, we move forward. If we're not, we'll tell you and point you somewhere better.
No sales calls unless you want one. Most of our early communication happens over email because it's faster and gives both sides time to think.
2. Planning
Once we agree to work together, we put together a clear plan: what we're building, what it'll cost, and how long it'll take. You'll know exactly what you're getting before we write a line of code.
We scope carefully on purpose. Scope creep is how projects go over budget and past deadline. If something new comes up during the build, we'll talk about it openly and adjust the plan together — no surprises.
3. Design and build
This is where the work happens. We design your site, build it, and keep you in the loop the whole time through your client portal. You'll see progress as it happens, not just at the end.
We work in weekly cycles. At the end of each week, you can see what was done and what's coming next. If something isn't right, we catch it early — not after the whole thing is built.
4. Review and launch
Before anything goes live, you'll review the finished site and we'll make adjustments until you're happy with it. We handle all the technical launch details: DNS, hosting setup, SSL certificates, redirects from your old site, sitemap submission — all of it.
Launch day is not stressful. By the time we get there, you've already seen and approved everything.
5. After launch
We don't disappear after your site goes live. Need a content update? A design tweak? Have a question about something? Just email us. Because your site is static, there's no monthly maintenance treadmill — but we're always here when you need something.
What makes this different
- One point of contact. You talk to the person building your site, not a project manager relaying messages to a developer you'll never meet.
- Transparent pricing. We bill weekly with upfront estimates. You know the expected cost before we start — no surprises.
- Weekly visibility. Your client portal shows exactly where the project stands at all times.
- Money back guarantee. If we can't deliver what we agreed to in the project scope, you get a refund for the work in question. See our full terms.
